Most visitors to Ecuador can enter the country without a visa. However, visitors from certain countries must first obtain a visa in advance before being allowed to enter.

Citizens of most countries may stay up to 90 days without a valid visa, (except Citizens of Mainland China who are allowed to stay for 30 days but, no more than 90 days per calendar year without a valid visa). All visitors must hold a national passport valid for 6 months, (except citizens of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru & Uruguay who can also enter Ecuador with a national ID card).[1]
