Aromatase, juga disebutestrogen synthetase atau estrogen synthase, adalah sebuah enzim yang bertanggung jawab untuk langkah penting dalam biosintesis dari estrogen. Enzim tersebut berkode CYP19A1, sebuah anggopta dari keluarga besar sitokrome P450 (EC 1.14.14.1), yang bersifat monooksigenase yang memicu banyak reaksi yang terjadi pada steroidogenesis. Biasanya, aromatase bertanggung jawab untuk aromatisasi androgen menjadi estrogen.
