Arthur Ruppin (1 Maret 1876 – 1 Januari 1943) adalah seorang pemikir dan pemimpin Zionis, dan salah satu pendiri kota Tel Aviv. Ia diangkat menjadi direktur Biro Statistik Yahudi di Berlin (Büro für Statistik der Juden) pada 1904.[1] Pada 1907, ia pindah ke Palestina. Dari 1908, ia menjadi direktur Jawatan Organisasi Zionis Palestina di Jaffa, mengorganisir kolonisasi Zionis di Palestina. Pada 1926, Ruppin bergabung dengan fakultas Universitas Ibrani Yerusalem dan mendirikan Jurusan Sosiologi Yahudi.[1] Sebuah bangunan di sana kini dinamai dengan namanya. Karya sosiologi paling terkenal buatannya adalah The Jews in the Modern World (1934). Ia banyak diakui sebagai bapak pendiri pemukiman Zionis[2] dan identitas dan habitus Ibrani Israel modern.[2]
