The White Shadow (sh. Bijela sjena) je britanski crno-bijeli nijemi film snimljen 1924. u režiji Grahama Cuttsa. Radnja se temelji na romanu Children of Chance Michaela Mortona, a u njemu američka glumica Betty Compson tumači lik dviju sestara blizanki - jednu dobru, a jednu amoralnu zavodnicu. Radnja prikazuje nezgode koje nastaju kada se u njih zaljubi mladi Amerikanac koga tumači Clive Brooks. Film je snimljen nedugo nakon Woman to Woman, Cuttsove adaptacije Mortonove drame s Betty Compson u glavnoj ulozi koja je doživjela neočekivan uspjeh u kino-dvoranama. S obzirom da se Compson vraćala u domovinu, Cutts je na brzinu osigurao prava za još jedan Mortonov tekst te snimio film. Ovaj put je film doživio neuspjeh, a što je Michael Balcon godine 1969. pripisao brzini i pohlepi. Filmskim historičarima je prvenstveno zanimljiv po tome što je na njemu kao Cuttsov asistent radio mladi Alfred Hitchcock. Smatrao se izgubljenim; godine 2011. su na Novom Zelandu pronađeno tri od originalnih šest rola.[1][2][3]
