La Chaux (French pronunciation: [la ʃo] ^ⓘ) is a commune in the Orne department in north-western France.

The commune is within the Normandie-Maine Regional Natural Park.^[3]

The commune has one river, The Gourbe flowing through it, and the Bois Tesselin stream.
